As he gazed at the night sky, his eyes wandered in amazement at the beauty above. Various stars glimmering so brightly to catch his eyes, yet only one could be his wish, his wish for true love. So many to choose from, he thought, and beautiful ones at that. There was one off in a distance with a certain twinkle different from all the rest. Its light was not very bright though, so he would look on thinking this is not the one. All the other stars shined in their glorious blazes just to capture his attention, but for some reason it was the dim star his eyes kept peering back at with curiosity and desire to understand it’s mystery. It had a twinkle about it that was beautiful and unique. “What is it about this star?” he thought to himself. But once again he looks away because it’s just so dim. This time he finds this glorious light and he thinks now surely this is the one. In all his delight and excitement he makes his wish on the brightest star he could see wrapped in all its illuminated burning desire. Life was to be happy now, right?…Yet He couldn’t help but wonder, so he looked back at that unique, dim, mysterious beauty that captured his intrigue. Only this time what he could see made him fall to his knees. His heart ached fore now he seen she was his real wish for true love. Her twinkle was the life of all others and her light was brighter than any other. She was the distant star protecting what she loved allowing all others to take the spotlight. She was the North Star guiding the way and She was his heart, the heart he chose not to follow and wish upon…. Her power and strength holds together, so she continues on protecting and watching over all that she loves because love is all she knows.
